Sylvia Kristel biopic is some cool outta-left-field news that I didn't know I needed. Casting seems fine but I'm just happy about the general concept.

Is there any demand, any audience for this biopic, though?

Lovelace featuring Amanda Seyfried completely bombed. I picked up a brand new blu-ray of that film for 5 Dkr (~$0.80) at a sale. :P

There must be something the studio saw in the movie. This was a long time ago but The People vs Larry Flynt was a success.

I'm proud of myself for almost never wanting to see a film for lurid reasons, but... Yeah, though I've never seen Emmanuelle and don't much care about Kristel at all, Hoeks totally gets me going and that's that.

Wonder if Private Lessons will be covered in it? Always wondered about the making of that movie. The kid (Eric Brown) was sure lucky as hell, I heard he replaced someone else who was cast first but was fired.
