Thumbs up Pirates of Silicon Valley

How accurate is this film?

How the character Steve Jobs was an ass to his workers & so cocky etc? fantastic actor.

Or how Bill Gates steals from Apple like a cool calm slithery snake?

Either way, I love this film.

Well, it's pretty accurate. S.J. is still the same a$$ to his workers. After all there weren't that many CEOs fired by their own company.

There was a documentary done way back that was much better and had interviews with everyone involved. The narrator even went to the old Xerox Parc building where the GUI was invented.

He even tells a story of helping Bill Gates move equipment into his garage and was offered company stock instead of cash and he turned it down.

Bet he called back and said, "Can I still give this money back and switch to stock?"

Its fairly accurate. Dramatized, but accurate. Xerox should have copyrighted Windows.
