Default Tiffani Thiessen Appreciation Thread

Please keep this thread classy and respectful. No nudity, raunchy photos, or crass comments. I appreciate it; thanks.

From her days as Zack Morris' girlfriend Kelly Kapowski on "Saved by the Bell", to vixen Valerie Malone on "Beverly Hills 90210", to the classy and lovely Elisabeth Burke in "White Collar"...who doesn't love Tiffani Thiessen?

Personally, I think she's a total babe, and seems like a sweetheart to boot. Here's a couple of my fave pics; let the chatting begin!

My first celebrity crush. Goodness, what a woman.

I ran into her in LA once. It was actually the first day I had arrived in LA and I was waiting to get my first cellphone. Finished that, saw a gym next door and wanted to check it out. Who opens the door? Yeah, it was her and I got weak in the knees. Honest to God. First time I ever meet a celebrity.

And yeah, I was speechless.

Always loved her in Saved by the Bell, she's so sort of impishly cute.

Great story.

The same thing sort of happened to me with Christina Applegate. I was sitting with my friend, while she took a break from the sex store she worked at (heh) on Hollywood Blvd., and who walks right by us but Christina Applegate? I, like a COMPLETE IDIOT, said, "Christina!" She looks back and smiles. That was like the moment of my life. God was she gorgeous.

Why did she never become a big movie star?

Who Tiffani?

Agreed. I'll never understand it. And she's one of the good people in the business. She has everything. Got the acting chops. The beauty. The intelligence. She's the total package. She was then and she still is.

This is just my opinion, but it seems many who make it to the top of the "Hollywood elite" have lots of connections, or end up sacrificing their personal integrity. While I don't like every role Tiffani's played, she doesn't seem to have lowered her standards much...and that may be why her career's reached its current status.

On the other hand, some actors genuinely prefer television, because they find it less hectic than a film schedule...so there's another possibility. I guess the only way to know for sure would be to ask her.

On another note, I found lots of hi-res shots from Tiffani's days on "Saved by the Bell", some time ago. I cleaned most of them up, but a few might still need some work before printing. Here's the link; enjoy!

Loved her on Fastlane, another great show that's never going to even see so much as a decent dvd release.

I just saw Tiffani on an episode of Craig Ferguson's new game show, "Celebrity Name Game". Everything seemed to be going well, until the contestants reached a category about "famous people with names that sound dirty". She sat next to David Arquette, watching that round...and with each name, Tiffani's expression looked more uncomfortable. I wanted to reach through the TV and smack Craig in the face, for allowing that kind of thing...especially around a lady.

Had never heard of that game show until now, but I found it last night just in time to watch. I didn't think she looked uncomfortable during that part. She looked tensed a couple times, waiting in anticipation to see if the person would get the answer right, but otherwise she didn't look at all uncomfortable to me. She was even laughing with everyone else at times.

It's not like anyone else from Saved By the Bell became a movie star. In fact, the biggest movie role by any cast member from that show is one I'm sure she'd prefer to forget ever happened.

I was referring to that specific round; she seemed to be enjoying the rest of the game. They only cut back to her and David three or four times, but she looked like she was trying to hold something back...and it wasn't laughter.

I guess we read her expressions differently or something. I just didn't think she looked uncomfortable at all during that round. From how you initially described it, I was expecting this obvious, ever-growing range of expressions suggesting awkwardness, but I saw nothing like that. Oh well.

I thought that round was hilarious, especially when the one contestant guessed "Elijah Wood?" I was LMAO!!

Not to mention that anyone who has seen even five minutes of Ferguson's old talk show would not be surprised by something like this in the slightest.

Game shows are generally meant to attract a broader audience, which is why this shocked me so much.

I always thought she was a good looking woman back in the 90s and she still looks great today...my favorites involving Tiffani are SBTB and 90210...

Agreed, except I was never a fan of "90210". She was great in "White Collar", though.

Haven't seen it but usually Craig Ferguson is a cool guy. If he did bother her I'd expect it was unintentional and he'd apologize later.

I liked Tiffani in Fastlane and Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th.
