It's a shame Leslie didn't live long enough to see these two classics getting a proper(hopefully) treatment.

Paramount have been very slow in releasing their classic back-catalog titles on Blu-ray but, with the recent Once Upon A Time In The West and now Airplane announced, let's hope they are starting to rectify that. It seems unbelievable that classics such as Rosemary's Baby, Chinatown, The Parallax View and Nashville are still not yet on Blu after more than five years of the format.

With this Monday's spout of releases and now this and Planes, Trains - comedy fans are really getting a good blu fix this year.

With all these comedy titles from Paramount announced for this autumn, I am so hoping that Clue The Movie is somewhere there too!

Brilliant news, Airplane! has gotta be one of the best comedy films ever. I agree it's a shame the sequel isn't coming out, it's one of the better follow-ups. I'm still waiting for Gremlins 2...

Last year, I had to have Airplane! before it was released on BD, so I picked it up on DVD, the Don't Call Me Shirley! edition.

I watched Airplane! last week. I got some good laughs.

But, today, I happened upon TMC and their airing of Zero Hour!.

Zero Hour! is the film from 1957 that Airplane! draws heavily upon in their parody. I had never seen Zero Hour!....

After wathcing Airplane! last week, I laughed more watching Zero Hour!, than I did watching Airplane!

If you know Airplane!, then I HIGHLY recommend you watch Zero Hour! at your earliest conveinience!!!!!

I think, that Zero Hour!, should be bundled with Airplane! in a package deal by Amazon --
