The advance seating charts for some of today’s (Friday) screenings looked better though, so maybe it’ll bounce back....slightly. |

Must’ve been no more than 10 including myself during yesterday’s 4pm. There was maybe 1 child, and the rest were girls in their later teens, or those around my age. One of those teen girls was howling at a particular joke in the film, she was so loud lol.

My 5 pm Dolby Cinema screening only had about 10 people. When that mom and her daughter dressed up as Dora sat down right next to me, I immediately got up and went to my own row.
Unless they are stay at home parents or work different shifts, it’s pretty difficult to get off of work, pick up the kids, and make a 4 or 5 pm weekday movie with rush hour traffic. So I wasn’t expecting a huge crowd. Hopefully the weekend numbers are better. It’s a quality film and based on the likable fun characters I could see them doing a sequel and making this a franchise. |

I've complained about that in another thread. Virtually empty theater with assigned seating, on several occasions someone has picked the seat right next to mine. Someone said that the computer might be defaulting to the best seat available. Either way, a lot of people just seem clueless about assigned seating.
