This one looks fricken sick to me. I mean, all the new Steels do. The artist did a great job imo. Really nailed it, perfect representation of the film. Loving them.

The only thing disappointing to me about these is that in the last 6 months I spent a decent chunk of money chasing down all the slipcovers for the regular releases. But I'm double dipping on all of the Scream Factory steels, I love the artwork on every one so far. Glad to see them releasing ones that aren't just John Carpenter too.

Wish they'd get caught in the 4k UHD craze as well. I hate double dipping but that's such a cool cover it will be hard to pass up. Probably will get the Lifeforce one as well due to the 4k remaster.

I love that art! Easily the best SF steel so far. I just got the SF CE, though. But, no slip, still sealed ... I might try to unload it if the price drops enough on the steel. Tempted!

I think they should drop the Blu-Ray logo from Steelbooks, so going forward people could just put their UHD discs in them. (I'm sure many do anyway, but it would irk me.)

Well, since 4K still uses a Blue laser as reading device (whereas DVDs used a red laser), it still can technically be called a "Blu-ray", hmmm?

I just saw some pics of one of SF'S steels. Since original poster art is a selling point for SF CEs, it's disappointing they don't use it for the interior art. Would make it easier to upgrade if the iconic old-school art was still utilized in some capacity.

I don't mind rebuying these SF steelbooks because if you have the slip cover on the first release, they usually sell for a good price and you wind up either breaking even or coming out with a few extra bucks. I'm in for all 3 of these new ones. I already have Carpenter ones.
