The Croods 4K UHD (2013)

The Croods (2013) will get a 4K UHD release in France in November. This being Dreamworks I guess it will also be released elsewhere.

This was a nice and enjoyable animation flick.

Will be getting this and put it next to the 3D Blu-ray on my shelf; as usual with 3D movies that get a 4K release.

It's coming to 4K on November 11th in Holland so yes it will come to other countries

Think Universal will be releasing this. Hoping they release Kung Fu Panda and other DreamWorks animated titles.

I could see them doing waves like Disney did with Pixar, but split into franchises like Shrek/Puss in Boots, Madagascar/Penguins, Kung Fu Panda etc then doing waves with similarly themed movies... It doesn't hurt that Fox already had Trolls, Boss Baby and Captain Underpants out on 4K and the new titles after Universal bought them are on 4K as well. I'd personally only need 5 of the back catalog, and I'd be on the fence about Kung Fu Panda.

The Croods 2 is SUPPOSED to be out end of the year, so I could see Universal putting it out around when it's either released theatrically or in addition to home video like they did for HTTYD. Same for Spirit 2, although it's based on the TV show and has nothing to do with the actual movie.
