I hear that The Black Cauldron is in 4K on Disney+, so is there hope for this movie to be released on 4K Disc and Blu-ray? One can hope, right? :P

Yeah, you can hope... Since it never got a BD release, I hope it does happen, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Disney is focusing all its efforts on Disney Plus right now. Even the 4K titles, they'll put them on D+ to drive consumers to that platform.
