Having not seen the first one I didn't know what to expect, but I was blown away. If you like Jack Reacher and Die Hard (the first one) you'll like this.

Check your pre-orders from time to time as the one listed by Amazon as 4K has a lower list price of 30.99 while the one listed ad Blu-ray is 34.99. Which seems switched around. Amazon has been twitchy with listings for a while.

Hopefully Best Buy does a pop art style steelbook to match the first one. I saw this on Monday in the theater and I thought it was just as good as the first. Denzel never disappoints and I’m surprised that this is his first sequel he’s done.

Amazon has corrected the listings now. The DVD and the 4K UHD were mixed up. New ASIN for the 4K UHD release:

I liked Jack Reacher and Die Hard, but this was garbage. The first one was decent though.

i think you must have watched a different movie when you watched the 1st equalizer, the 1st equalizer is a very cool/good/entertaining movie so yeah. equalizer 2 was not quite as good as the 1st but it was entertaining nonetheless.

100% agree, the settings in the last 20 minutes of both movies are so unique to me.
