studio's and distributers - Blu-ray Forum

i have noticed around this forum several different things i have found kinda confusing with blu ray

first off with dvd the difference between who made the movie and distributed it made no difference to the home consumer as we just got it on dvd no questions asked.

but obviously this generation is different.one country gets things others dont.

if thats not bad enough i find out some counrtys pq is better because its a better encode.

the point to this is do the studios or the distributers master and encode the transfer to blu?

It is confusing that good thing it won't matter much longer with every studio going blu in 2008.
