FOX's "The Last Man On Earth" (Season 4)

So who watched the premiere last night? I really liked it and thought it was funny but I question the long-term potential of this show. It just doesn't seem like the show could last for multiple seasons. Regardless, I'll keep watching it and hope the ratings are decent.

I actually enjoyed this very much although not at the beginning of the show.

[Show spoiler]He was/is such a slob that I couldn't relate to him. Also the 'adventures' he goes on, again I couldn't get into it too much. But when he started breaking down and eventually finds his female counterpart, the show started to draw me in. I'm glad you posted this because I had forgot to set my DVR timer, thanks!

Good ratings last night for The Last Man on Earth, with both episodes getting a 2.3 rating, the highest for the night on any network. Numbers almost always drop after the first week but this is definitely a good start.

I hope these are answered, or at least inferred, later.
If we can't have Daddario back, I would prefer if Will Forte was actually alone. Those were my favorite parts of the show.

Btw, next episode is called The Elephant in the Room, so I'm figuring there will either be some form of explanation of what's happened, or more likely, they tackle the fact the show can't simply be just about Will Forte.

That episode was aired last night as well. They played them back to back.

I liked the show as well. will definitely keep watching . One of the best network shows in years.

The Last Man on Earth is an American post-apocalyptic comedy television series created by Will Forte. The series premiered on the American broadcast network Fox on March 1, 2015. The pilot episode was written by Forte and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

The show originated from the writing team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who had the idea initially for a feature film. They approached longtime collaborator and former Saturday Night Live cast member Will Forte with the premise, who "took a spark to it and took it in his own direction," according to Miller. He was partially inspired by the series Life After People. "I love comedy where there's a lot of tension and even though it's very far-fetched, it seems very relate-able," said Forte of the premise. Forte's treatment for the series, crafted over a weekend, was pitched around Hollywood to positive responses. They mainly pitched to cable and Internet services, as Forte believed a broadcast network would be stricter on content. In their pitch, much of the outline of the series' first season was formulated. Fox, the show's eventual distributor, was instead doing "something different" and specific to his vision, according to Miller.

Filming the series was challenging. For example, maintaining silence and not picking up sounds of cars in the distance made it difficult. In addition to Forte's fascination with Life After People, similar films bandied about while writing the show included The Omega Man, I am Legend, and 28 Days Later. Fox particularly appreciated the heart of the story, with its universal theme. According to Lord, "We always talked about that this is a person who is very flawed, and a person who maybe needed the entire world to end in order for him to become his best self. That was our big thought, well here’s a guy who maybe he wasn’t the best guy in the regular world, but if you took the regular world away, could he eventually get back to being the person that all of us hope that we can be."

How do you view these forums do you normally go to new posts of just select a forum I do both

I just head into the main page of a forum, see what's there, go a page r two in and see if I want to join any discussion.

Usually though, I hang out in my "User CP" section... That shows me new posts in threads I'm subscribed to.

At first, i actually didn't really have interest to watch it. But i think it gets interesting so i decide to keep watching. Hopefully, the ratings gets higher and manage to maintain its rating in the next episode.
