Looks like another generic streaming action comedy, but it could be kinda fun.

I just watched the trailer for this. It looks like an entertaining action/comedy.

Looks better than Apple's Chris Evans & Ana De Armas action/comedy movie Ghosted at least.

I like Mark Wahlberg as an actor but it feels like he's in the same place that Dwayne Johnson is as a performer. He's got his own water, tequila, clothing line and fitness franchise. I think he's also got his own nike shoe. If you look at his instagram page he's constantly shilling for some new product or working out. He's become more of a brand than an actor.

He's not going to take any role that jeopardizes his brand/image. This movie looks okay, but I'd love to see him work with directors like Martin Scorsese, David O. Russell or Paul Thomas Anderson. Hell, even Peter Berg again.

I just watched it. It was pretty fun. Wahlberg is always cool and I like his comedy Style. Also the movie has a lot of Action. especially the showdown at the Casino Hotel was great.
And the kids didn't suck. They all got their winning moments.
What I didn't like was the Kamera Work. to many close ups and weird angles.
But still overall a very funny NoBrainer Action Comedy

I enjoyed this; its not very memorable outside of a couple of gags but its a fun time while watching and that is all it wanted to be. Mission accomplished.

Really enjoyed this. It's all quite generic & I felt like I'd seen a lot of it before somewhere, but Walhberg & Monaghan were both great, the kids weren't remotely irritating (a small miracle these days) & most of the action stuff was pretty solid.

Also, Monaghan singing Ice Ice Baby is one of the sexiest things I've seen in ages.

Two minor niggles:
1. Some of the action/violence felt like it had been cut to get a lower rating.
2. Wahlberg's hair. Was he wearing a wig, or was it just a bad dye job?

Something about it just looked off in certain scenes. Reshoots maybe?

Pity it's on Apple. Very little chance of it turning up on disc.

I stopped halfway, it's just a very tedious and average movie with an overly long duration (2hrs).

That sucks because I love watching Mark Wahlberg.

By the way, the movie has a lot of 10/10 reviews that's pretty weird. It's definitely not a perfect movie.

Finally had the chance to give this a watch. I liked it.

The story is pretty straight to the numbers. Dad is an ex-spy and his family doesn't know. His old enemies find them and he takes his family on the run while telling them its a vacation. There are all the expected beats and nothing surprising. It's nothing ground breaking but its a fun family film to watch one afternoon. It's much more fun to watch than the other Mark Wahlberg secret agent movie, The Union, that came out recently.

The cast of the family are all good. Wahlberg is Wahlberg. He's always been good at bouncing back and forth between action and comedy or doing them both at the same time. I always thought Michelle Monaghan should have been a much bigger star. She's great in this and shows that she should be getting bigger roles more often. The kids were good. That was baby did a good job, they got some good reactions out of him. Some of them may have been CGI but most of it looked practical. That baby might be the next Daniel Day Lewis.

Maggie Q is under used in the movie. She has a couple scenes as a friend of Monaghan's at a cardio kickboxing class in the first ten minutes and then completely disappears. She's a big enough actress that you know she is going to show up again and then the movie waits almost until the very end to bring her back. It's a bit of a waste of a great actress.

Also too many random shots of Valorant gameplay. Did Valorant contribute to the budget of this movie? It was some of the most blatant product placement I've ever seen.

6.5/10. It's a fun, family movie to watch when you got nothing else going on. The movie probably would've gotten a slightly higher score if they cut 10-15 mins out of the film, including the Said Taghmaoui character.
