Default Netflix's "Fuller House" (Season 4)

Further proof that TV executives have run out of ideas:

Quote:
Could a Full House return be in the works? The family sitcom, which aired on ABC from 1987 to 1995, is still a ratings juggernaut via repeats on Nick at Nite. Now Warner Bros. TV is mulling a new take on Full House, with some of the original cast intact.

Leading the charge is John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) — who has an ownership stake in the show, which gives him good reason to champion the new series. Original executive producer Bob Boyett and creator Jeff Franklin (who's writing the new version) are actively involved. Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) are on board, while Bob Saget (Danny) and Dave Coulier (Joey) are also involved in some way.

I don't think it is a case of being out of idea but of mitigating risks. By using an established show they have a built in potential audience that are both familiar and nostalgic. I'd check it out, like I checked out Girl Meets World. Girl Meets Worlds got an audience they would have never had without the nostalgia and brand of Boy Meets World.

I agree, I would rather see more sequels to classic shows like this or Girl Meets World than the 1,000th crime procedural.

If this was just a remake, I may agree but catching up with these characters years after is a cool idea.

I'd love to see what a grown Kimmy Gibbler would be like, still annoying the Tanners after so many years.

On another note, they wouldn't necessarily need both of the Olsen twins to come back, since the main reason both were cast in the first show was due to the character being so young. I'm also curious to see whether Lori Loughlin or Scott Weinger would be interested for the new show.

I'd be curious what channel would air the show. I could certainly see Disney and Nickelodeon being interested but wonder if ABC would be interested in airing the show again. If it was on Disney or Nick I would assume it would be more focused on some younger characters that would be the children of D.J., Stephanie, and/or Kimmy while making the original cast more secondary like in Girl Meets World. I'd rather have it more focused on the original cast and what they're doing now and I think that would be more likely on ABC or even ABC Family.

I'd love to see this happen as long as they do like they did with Girl Meets World and make it so that it only appeals to children.

This was one of my all time favs!

Not really the first show to have continuations or spinoffs, I'd be down for it.

I'd love to see the return of Family Matters and TGIF.

Just think how Family Matters could happen with Steve living the past 17 years trapped as Stefan working on how to escape and be Urkel again.

You apparently didn't see the last few episodes of "Family Matters", because a lab accident permanently separated Steve and Stefan. Laura eventually chose Steve, and the show ended on a cliffhanger.

im 100% all for this as long as the new "Grandkids" don't sing and dance like every Disney show.

I'd rather have kids that aren't the best actors rather than these fake song/dance/weird facial expression kids they keep churning out.

I hope we get to see a closer look at the religious cult aspects this time. We barely saw any goat sacrifices or anything last time

I don't see how they could bring Roseanne back anyway considering how badly they effed it up in the last season.

I want a Steve Urkel and ALF sitcom with the premise of The Odd Couple.

Or maybe bring back All In The Family. That would go over well.
