While we’re here talking about retired actors who should make a comeback, let’s talk about actors working right now who are not being used to their best abilities.

For example, look at Anne Hathaway. One of our brightest stars who had a great run with critically acclaimed hits (Brokeback Mountain, Rachel Getting Married) to sizable blockbusters (Devil Wears Prada, The Dark Knight Rises), culminating with a deserved Oscar for Les Misérables. Afterwards? Serenity, The Last Thing He Wanted, The Hustle, Song One, Alice Through The Looking Glass, The Intern. A few good films, to be sure, but even those fail to use her to her best, aside from Colossal. She needs to work with a Spike Lee or a Guillermo Del Toro.
