Exclamation A little help finding an Amir quote on Upconverting

Apologies to mods, I just wanted to post this where the most folks would see it...
Once I find what I'm looking for I'll be happy to report it back so it gets deleted.

I've searched and searched here, and still can't find it.....

I thought I read something here in one of the threads about Amir doing some article on hd-dvd (At High Def Digest) talking about upconverting, where we can use this as ammunition against the latest upconverting Fud being spread around at other places.

If someone has that link to the quote or knows what I am talking about, it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

MODS: I Found it, feel free to delete or move..... It literally popped in my head where I saw it... (Best Homer....Doh!)

I've found it is true -- once you go HD, you never go back. Even friends who laughed at my expensive toys a few years ago are now all getting HDTVs and HD DVRs and the like. And inevitably, they all complain now when a show is only in standard-def. They've all turned into HD snobs, too. I love it!

That's the key thing -- many people ask about HD, is it enough of a step up? Maybe it isn't, but it is a huge step down when you go backward. So when you first watch HD, you go, "Eh, it is kinda a little bit better." But give them ten HD movies to watch, then give them a standard-def DVD afterward, and they'll think their picture is suddenly out of focus!......

.....Longer term, we think we can sort of blur the line between packaged media, in this case optical discs, and digital downloads.
