Australia Australian films that deserve a Blu-ray release...

What are you top wants? It's a wonder why some of these haven't been released on BD yet...

- Gallipoli
- Razorback (classic!!)
- Burke & Wills (I emailed Umbrella about this title - they passed my comment onto the acquisitions department)
- The Castle (COME ON!!!)
- The Proposition (it's been released internationally...why not here?)
- Kokoda (underrated)
- Crocodile Dundee 1&2

Definatly the Castle & The Croc Dundee movies

Technically it got a release... a German release lol go figure that one out. But apparently it's really bad quality too.

A little film called Last Ride. I don't expect many people to be familiar with it but I remember loving it. Sure it's not a classic and it kind of got lost in the midst of some great Aussie movies in 2009 but it really is a hidden gem. Hugo Weaving is at his best in this.

They would have to be at the top of the list. I'd add Malcom and Spotswood

I've mentioned Chopper a few times as being my number 1 most wanted Australian film on blu in similar threads. Wolf Creek is available on blu in the UK, I purchased it from Amazon late last year for about $6.

What about this movie WAKE IN FRIGHT (or OUTBACK)? I've never seen it, but it's supposed to be good. I understand it's on Blu-ray in Australia, and it's all-region. If true, is it worth getting?

Two Hands is already released here, but it's in 1080/50i.

Default "Halifax f.p"

"Halifax f.p."

Please issue the entire series. Although they were released for television, production values are similar to medium budget feature films.
