Default Correct Receiver Setup For 5.1.4

Hello,

My older Marantz 7009 has many speaker/amp config options. I have long had just a 5.1 system and would use the 5.1 bi-amp speaker config with bi-amp assign using the amps for the surround backs. This was simple and worked great. Now that I have added 4 height channels, an extra amp for rear height pre-out, I'm trying to get the same front left/right mains bi-amped.

I noticed that the Dolby Atmos speaker config works perfect for 5.1.4, but there's no front left/right mains bi-amp option to go with that. There's a 7.1 bi-amp speaker config option, but that assumes you have a 7.1 system and only has one of the heights available as a speaker option with no volume test tone going out to pre-out like in the aforementioned Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 config.

Am I to take from this that anytime I want to listen to music, I would need to go into speaker config settings and change it to like the original 5.1 bi-amp config? I'm trying to get it to a situation where the Marantz speaker config does it all in one setting, if possible......

That I have my 5.1.4 for Atmos and front left/right mains bi-amped for 2 ch stereo music listening.

I do plan on getting the Marantz SR 7013 in order to also have DTS-X, but for now the Atmos in the 7009 is a great step up.
