Domestic melodrama sounds more appealing to me but if he goes with the zonky nightmare comedy I’d still be happy.

Can't wait for it to somehow land in over 2000+ theaters as I crawl into the fetal position at the climax.

I’m guessing “zonky nightmare comedy” and “sickly, domestic melodrama” aren’t exactly mutually exclusive in Aster’s world.

Aster is good at comedy bits so I wouldn't mind a zonky nightmare comedy.

I'll watch whatever this guy writes and directs

He did say after a while ago that after he was done with Midsommar, he's going to call it quits for the horror genre for a while. So I guess you'll get your wish.
