This is supposed to be 4K UHD.

I'm leaning towards this one over the other four. Less expensive, saves shelf space, and the art work looks cool.

Unless they really panned out for that shot, it's not wide enough. Unless the laserdisc comeback is made of that stuff the roll up keyboards are made of:

I'v been theorizing for some time, that the next physical media will be Blu-Laser-Disc. Use the Laser Disc size with Blu-ray protein (or whatever that shiny stuff is called). If people
[Show spoiler]are stupid enough to
buy/produce vinyl records, why not this? It's a mix of old and new that should work.

I dunno -- Seems a little "cartoony" for such a gritty, realistic series.

Kidding aside, that's a pretty cool steelbook. My only issue is that I 100% guarantee that if I buy it they'll decide to make a Part 5 and that would send my OCD into a tailspin, so I'm going with the separate releases.

Looks like this may be from Orlando Arocena based on the style. The signature does look like his too.

i didn't even realize eight discs could be stacked in a regular-width/thickness steelbook..i know the ghostbusters one had six and the hub interlocks in the middle. maybe i'll take a closer look and see if the hubs actually could fit four on each? or is this some kind of new offset arrangement?

It could be a G1 (DVD) size case or they are going to have multiple films on each disc.

Is this the last movie in the series? I hate buying a box set, only for another flick to be released.

Is Stallone dead yet? No? Then nobody knows if this is the last one then.

Even if Stallone says it's the last one, even then it wouldn't mean it's the last one.

No series is ever over until you, the collector, dies. Then the series is over for you.

After seeing Part 4 (and the pitiful domestic box office returns) I personally wouldn't hesitate to put money on it being The End. This series has pretty comprehensively run out of gas (and I say this as someone who didn't hate #4).

But, then again, weirder things have happened. Maybe it'll clean up in China.

It is definitely the last one with Sly, he comes full circle on this one. I am assuming they will proceed with "a new team" and Statham in charge.
