Absolutely Day 1 for me, I already have money set aside for the console, extra DS5 & headset plus a couple of games.

Considering the state of the world, and the fact that launch games wise I’m only really interested in Spider-Man (which I suspect is a bit of a budget title as opposed to a fully fledged follow up) I will likely be waiting until my PS4 finally gives up, or Horizon 2 releases.

As of right now, I'll wait a few months, launch titles seem scarce and the exact depth of backwards compatibility is up in the air.

i never buy a new console on day 1. i always wait until most of the bugs are worked out. plus, if horizon 2 isn't a launch title, then i can wait a bit.

waiting on price...it really does play a factor to me. not paying $600 for a console when the PS4 is still great.

also depends on what is an actual launch title.

Now that I have said that, I'm sure if I see a pre-order I will get one

Day one. I'll pay whatever. Already I know I'll have Cyberpunk, Assassins Creed, and New Spider-Man to play at launch. Plenty to get me to upgrade my base PS4 that doesn't run games great these days.

I'll be getting it Day 1 just so I can finally start replaying my PS4 games in better quality/faster loading like I have been waiting for on my new 4K tv since I don't have a Pro.

Ideally I would like to wait for the PS5 Pro since I'm really loving my PS4 pro and still have a decent backlog from this gen. I don't know if I have the strength though.
