Christian Bale, Michael Keaton and Robert Downey Jr. should all be in the Top 10.

These three totally changed the game in Superhero films.

Joaquin Phoenix, Alfred Molina, Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman and Chris Evans should not be in the Top 10 [actually maybe Chris does deserve to be in the Top 10]. Also Michael B. Jordan was the strongest actor in Black Panther and probably should have been Black Panther.

I don't have a problem with Number One and Two though!

My Top Ten which Just my opinion, just like the Variety list is an opinion.

1. Heath Ledger - The Dark Knight
2. Michael Keaton - Batman Returns
3. Christian Bale - The Dark Knight
4. Christopher Reeves - Superman The Movie
5. Robert Downey Jr. - Iron Man 3 [and he's the face of Marvel Infinity Saga]
6. Michelle Pfeiffer - Batman Returns
7. Hugh Jackman - Logan
8. Ryan Reynolds - Deadpool
9. Patrick Stewart - X-Men...pick a film
10.Dafne Keen - Logan

I will admit my list is pretty traditional except for no. 10

One performance I always loved is Kat Dennings as Darcy. I haven't seen Love and Thunder but if they brought Natalie back I hope she's in the film too.

I do think it's funny that two performances from Black Panther are on this list in the Top 10 and how elevated that movie is for critics but a film I don't think is as good as people make it out to be. The Hulk film with Edward Norton is a better movie, again just my opinion.
