Default The Voyage Home: Star Trek IV DVD

This question applies solely to non-US DVDs of Star Trek IV.

Can anyone confirm if any of the UK/European (or elsewhere) DVD releases contain the specially created overseas prologue? I know it was on the UK video cassettes but I can't for the life of me remember about the DVD versions. I don't think it was featured on those discs found in the multi-film collections. I thinking more along the lines of the original movie-only DVDs.

Thanks in advance.

You are looking for this release of the film. I think it is out of print however.

Hope this help.

"Outside the USA the title was reversed to "The Voyage Home: Star Trek IV" and a short prologue recapping II and III was added (122 minutes NTSC = 117 minutes PAL)"

https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki...d_DVD_releases
"Due to Star Trek III: The Search for Spock being released direct-to-video in some European and South American territories, a prologue recapping the events of The Search for Spock, narrated by Shatner, was added to release prints of this film in the territories listed above. The UK home video masters were also used for the Australian video release. Some of these releases omitted the Challenger dedication in order to make room for this prologue, but some releases kept both the prologue and the dedication."

Yes but it just recaps the events of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
