World Wide Pictures 4K Blu-ray discs would be ideal

I noticed that there has not been any 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs from World Wide Pictures. In addition, World Wide Pictures has not released any standard Blu-ray discs either. So far just Laserdiscs and DVD discs released from World Wide Pictures.

Billy Graham who is known as the most famous fundamentalist Bible believing Christian evangelists in the 20th Century, was involved in making and starring in some amazing Christian movies over the decades with classics like The Prodigal in 1983 and Cry From The Mountain in 1985 (both Christian movies released on Laserdisc back in the 80’s and later released on DVD in the 21st Century). In these classic fictional Christian movies, Billy Graham had footage from live preaching sermons and/or live crusades. The Prodigal movie and the Cry From the Mountain movie in the ideal world should get a 8K master scan of the original 35mm film negative and released on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format.

Normally the DVD format most of the time has a better picture quality when compared to the Laserdisc format. However the original Prodigal and Cry From the Mountain Laserdisc has a better analog NTSC picture quality with studio master 2.0 PCM sound when compared to the lower quality single layer 480i NTSC DVD with digital artifacts and lossy 2.0 Dolby Digital soundtrack. The DVD releases should have been made a high bit rate video encode and placed on a dual layer disc to get rid of the digital artifacts, the original 80’s Laserdiscs clearly has better picture and sound for The Prodigal and Cry From The Mountain classic Billy Graham Christian movies.
