Plex Media on a Xbox x

Hi: Trying to decide which device is best for my Plex media streaming in terms of which one will use all the modern formats such as Atmos DTS-X etc...on video side 4K 60 is just fine for me need HDR 10 + & Dolby Vision on video side. Using a Sony OLED TV circa 2020(HDMI 2.0). Looking at either a X Box X or a PS5 or perhaps a Shield Pro to do my Plex streaming?Thanks for the help!Leaning heavily towards a Xbox X hence posting here.Thanks

Does the Plex app in general (on any platform at all) support HDR 10 + and Dolby Vision? I wonder.

When you say plex streaming, do you mean a device to host the stream or play the stream? Hosting may be a little more picky on what hardware to use, but streaming could be done from anything about. Also with the video specs you mentioned, just know that you may need beefy hardware to do it. Personally I just do run of the mill rips and with compression. About on the level of streaming services as far as looks Doesn't look as good as the discs, but the file size is a ton smaller and aren't too far off as far as looks. Personally, it's just a back up of my collection for me, that I can use when I'm away from home. So I don't have to haul discs around. Also use it to let a friend "barrow" a movie to watch, instead of let them borrow the disc itself. I've had too many problems with that and damaged discs. I'm still kind of a noob at this myself and slowly learning more and more about Plex.

I think Shield Pro is the platform that supports the most features.
