As much as I like this franchise (with quite a few of them being genuine favorites of the genre), I feel as if MCU has done more harm than good to the superhero genre and blockbusters in general. Some of them lack a personal touch while studios trying to copy their approach has lead from results that range from mixed to downright terrible.

If they all went away, I kind of feel like not much of value would be lost.
