As a big fan of HBO this news made my day, A comedy that lasted for 8 season with solid views and 10 episodes approx each season this is the best news for a fan of this show its like saying to a terminator

fan that all movies will be in a box set i hope to know your thought about this

ps : its available foe preorder for around 270 $

i ordered the 1st 2 seasons yesterday just to notice that this will be released then i canceled my order but as a HBO show i am afraid the price will not go lower than 100 $ what do you think

I think I stopped watching this in between the two or three week gap where one season ended and another began. I thought that was pretty weird but the writing started showing total gaps in logic and they didn't even know their own characters' histories. I just tuned out...

It'll be on enough times on HBO on Demand or HBO GO... wish there was an app for that on PS3.

Ugh I should've known this was on its way. I have season 1-7 on DVD although only season 1 is opened ...

Nice.. but they should also release "The Sopranos-The Complete Series", we just have season 1 and 6.. so, seasons 2-5 are missing
By far, one of the best shows that HBO have done.

Seems like that is just a placeholder, I haven't seen an official announcement anywhere. $270 sounds a bit high, no? It's been on Amazon at that price for a long time.

Yeah, I wouldn't hold your breath. I think HBO would probably revisit The Sopranos before going back and giving Entourage the complete series Blu-ray treatment. There was a rumor last fall that we might be lucky enough to see a complete series release of The Sopranos this year but.... yeah. There's really been no mention of it since.

But, with so few episodes per season, Entourage is much better suited for a quick Blu-ray production turnover. I don't discount the opposite theory of your own.

The $270 price point seems really high. I don't think I paid more than $25 for any of the 3 seasons on blu and may have paid as low as $20. Entourage always seems like it's on sale around Black Friday and doesn't Best Buy occasionally have those 50% off HBO sets sales.

I also read in another post that the complete collection of Friends might be around $200. Same # of seasons but a ton more episodes.

Not to mention that the HD masters for 'Entourage' already exist. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the HD masters for "The Sopranos" season 2-5 are only for the syndicated cuts?

But with that said I will buy this the second it goes under $200! I havn't purchased a single season on DVD (except the first, which was my introduction to the series the weekend before season 3 began, season 2 was rerun and I had them on my DVR) knowing I'd want the complete series someday.

I was waiting for this to happen. I'll eventually buy it when the price goes down (and if they smartly put it into a nice regular sized package like Deadwood CS and Rome CS). Now if we can get them to throw down on The Sopranos, Carnivale, Big Love, The Wire and Six Feet Under.

Me too. This is even more exciting to me personally than the "Friends" set coming out later this year. The second this baby is sub $200, it will be mine!

I was pleasantly surprised to find the seasons 1 & 2, supposely only shot in 4/3, appears in big expanded W I D E S C R E E N HD on iTunes. So this complete set will be in W I D E S C R E E N.

Is this the first time seasons 1 & 2 appear in W I D E S C R E E N?
