KELLY'S HEROES played September 17, 1970 at the Empire Leicester Square in 70mm six-track magnetic stereophonic. I hope they’ve produced this with the tender care of what original mix was.

We know Bluray is incapable of five screen front discrete which is real shame for a given format that can do 7.1! Studios are just not thinking because its ran by a bunch of kiddies today. Well I hope its all soundtrack wise original. Its very feasible to do 5 screen discrete in the home, they just don’t care about film soundtrack preservation.

Mostly like it, would have (half dialogue) pans between centre and right and centre left at times, with hard left and right and common centre front dialogue speech.

The film should not in anyway have stereo surrounds they should be original monaural since stereo surrounds wasn’t used till 1978.

Not much of a fan of Where Eagles Dare but to each his own. Kelly’s Heroes on the other hand is a great “60’s WWII film”

Great film and one of my fave OST's, managed to get a copy of the FSM Limited Edition when they released it in 2005. WOOF WOOF!

I prefer Kelly's Heroes slightly over Where Eagles Dare – mainly because of the look on Clint's face whenever he is speaking to Oddball.
