Last night, I purchased "The Three Stooges Collection - Volume 4" on iTunes. I already have these on DVD, but AppleTV has these episodes listed as HD on the app. So, I decided to go for the upgrade and buy it for $19.99. After the purchase, I discovered they were not in HD after all. They were in SD. I logged into iTunes on my computer and noticed all the Three Stooges episodes were labelled as SD, not HD like the app. So, that HD label must be a glitch or incorrect info on the AppleTV app. Due to this, I felt it was unfair to pay $20 for something that was mislabeled on the app. So, this morning, I submitted a refund request for this purchase. The email says it will take 48 hours for an update.
Any chance iTunes will honor this refund request? Seems like a long shot to me, but I've never done this before so I figured it's worth a shot. After all, if these episodes were going to be in HD as labelled on the app, I wouldn't be doing this. So, it's not like I'm doing this maliciously. |
