Default Great Moving/Packing/Storage Boxes for Blus, LPs, Etc.

First off, hope this is the right sub-forum for this thread.

We're moving and I'm in the process of packing lots of media. It's always a pain trying to find appropriate boxes, etc., and LP's are even worse than movies or CD's in that regard. So, I've been on the hunt for something good along these lines ... not just now but for years.

I finally found these Coroplast (corrugated plastic) boxes at Bags Unlimited and I'm liking them so far. A bit of a PITA at first to assemble, but once you've done a couple you get the knack (bad album title pun, sorry ...).

The CD/Movie box holds ~100 CDs, and alternately, I was able to get ~ 70 Blus in one. Just to check, I was able to get 57 DVDs in one.

The LP box holds ~ 60 LPs.

Both types of the box cost around $14-15/ea., and while I will admit that sounds like a lot for a box, cardboard alternatives out there cost almost as much. And then there is always the issue of whether things will fit/fit properly - a major problem when looking for LP boxes/storage devices as U.S. LP's are 12 3/8 in. wide (not incl. sleeve) and so many boxes, etc., are only 12 " wide. Finally, they are definitely tough, I have no doubt these boxes will hold up for the rest of my collecting days - that's not happening with some regular old cardboard box, etc. I'd have no qualms shipping stuff in them either.

Yeah, I'm probably going to be making a cross-country move sometime early next year, and I'm like "wtf am I going to do with all these movies?"

Don't have anything useful to contribute, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this thread.

I have been searching high and low and found the perfect boxes for storing DVD and BD sized movies.

They are the common banker's boxes found at Staples which cost about $20 for 8. That's what I use and they work great.
