Mighty Orbots Complete April '18 - Blu-ray Forum

Just a quick note -- fans of the Saturday morning mid-80's cartoon series Mighty Orbots will be pleased to find out that the complete series (all 13 episodes) will be out April 17 via Warner Archive. It will be available through Amazon and the WB Store. $29.99 MSRP.

Albeit a short-lived Sat morn toon (well, there were lots of classic Sat morn toons with only 13 eps), Orbots was a very slick and fine moving animated gem animated by TMS Entertainment.

I will try to find out if this series is re-mastered in any way. If so, of course, it would definitely rock.

One of my absolute favorites!
I actually love this combiner type robot a lot more than I do Voltron and others that have existed. But have never been able to fully appreciate it because no one has actualkly ever released a good enough toy to represent it.
Extremely happy to know of this new release, but wish they would remaster it and release it in Blu-Ray.
Please keep us posted on any good details about it!

I’ve wanted this for so long. It was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I occasionally watch episodes on YouTube because I couldn’t find it anywhere else. Somehow I missed this coming out last year. I just ordered it from Amazon. Can’t wait for it to get here!

With all the legal issues around this series and cancellation, how did it ever make it to disc? And how did it end up at WB???
