In the course of two months I get to see Princess Bride, E.T., Close Encounters, and Lion King all back in theaters. I hope they continue this trend.

I've got tickets for Casablanca and The Princess Bride, but I haven't seen tickets for Close Encounters yet. I know it's coming in September so I'm on the lookout.

Haven't watched it in a while but this was one of those "oh we have a sub today, let's throw on a movie" movies we used to watch all the time in grade school. The others being Jurassic Park and Mulan. I don't know why it was those three, but I'm not complaining. I enjoy all three quite a bit.

My mother refuses to watch this film because of its name. She doesn't trust me enough since I've shown her a lot of bad films in the past.

I just rewatched it on sunday. Same thing, probably at least 10 years since I've seen it. Definitely holds up, the right amount of cheese yet still one of the best sword fights on film.

This is one of those movies that's become so ingrained in popular culture, you don't need to have seen it all the way through. I've only watched it maybe three times myself, but my ex-girlfriend enjoyed it a lot.

I've only seen it once, way back in the mid-90s, in one of my high school classes. I recall liking it but haven't seen it again since and don't remember much from it other than what's spilled over into pop culture.
