Its $9.99 on Hastings and I love thrillers.

It's pretty good, but it's one of those types of movies that you only want to see once. It doesn't have much replay value. I'd rent it if I were you.

The bluray transfer isn't reference quality but the movie is great!

One of my favorite movies of all time, you won't be dissapointed.

Blind buy: Highly recommended

I do agree in that the movie may not have much replay value, but for $9.99, you might as well own it as opposed to paying $5 to rent it.

The movie is definitely worth checking out though, and I agree, highly recommended!

You should. As long as you rent 2-3 movies a month, you could, at the very least, go with the $4.99 per month deal. You only get one movie at a time, but that's still a hell of a deal. That's the deal I'm on right now, but I will soon switch back to the $8.99 per month/two discs at a time deal.

Netflix is the shit.

A decent thriller, but it has zero replay value.

Might I say there are a lot of these "is _________ worth a blind buy" threads going on.

I say that that is why it is a blind buy. You don't know! You can check out the ratings the reviews and all but only YOU decide if YOU like it.

Though I understand the OP question it really is a pointless question. You might as well ask. "Did you like __________"

What you intend to do is make a visually impaired buy, maybe near sighted or far sighted.

My 3 cents (inflation)

Nah, it's a lame movie. The ending rips off The Parallax View. Plus it's completely implausible. 24's terrorist plots were more believable.

Same here. I blind bought it on DVD about 10 years ago and liked it (still in my collection) but I haven't watched it since. I wasn't even aware it was out on blu until I saw this thread. For that price, I would upgrade.

I wasn't aware this was out on Blu-ray either. The movie is fairly decent to watch. While it's more of a suspense movie than anything else, it's one of those movies that causes you to think while watching the movie. There are many twists and turns and by the time the movie ended, I really wasn't expecting the ending that had actually happened.

By the time the movie ends, you won't actually be expecting it, I know I was shocked.

its a great movie with a memorable ending-- I do not agree that it has zero replay value-- it's a movie that you'll watch again in a few years as most good movies-- I really don't get these posts where unless you watch the movie 20 times it's not a good value

You do realize that by soliciting other people's opinion on a movie you are considering to buy makes it no longer a "blind" purchase?

Price just went down to 9.99.

But yeah, this is one of the few movies I walked out of the theater, maybe about halfway. Seemed to me the overacting in it was what turned me off on it, and I recall being rather bored with it on top of that. Still, from time to time I get kind of curious to see how it turned out...
