Will Disney ever release this movie on Blu-ray?

I can understand that Disney won't release Song of the South on Blu, but this one..? We've waited FOREVER for this one on blu-ray. What's the hold up? It's on Disney+ in 4K (I think) and there is a HD transfer for it, why not release it then?

I see people claiming that Disney is not very keen on optical discs, and they have cancelled the plans Fox had for UHD releases. They seem to now be pushing their new streaming service ahead of anything else.
