Default How Do You Think AVP-2 Would Look On Blu?

I think it'll be more grainier than the first--most of the movie takes place in the dark! I watched it twice in theaters and both times I had trouble making out who was when there was a fight scene between the predator and aliens.
What do you guys think?

I'm sure I'll find out. I didn't see it at the theater but I'll do a blind-buy on this one.

Also, I don't think it necessarily has to be grainy because it's in the dark. Check out The Descent. It's mostly in the dark but it's looks great.

I stayed away from purchasing The Descent because of the fear it would look horrible since it takes place in the dark (I'm looking for demo material to impress my family with the wonder of blu), but maybe I'll take a look at it now.
By the way, didn't you think AVP2 was too dark? I couldn't make out anything. But maybe when it's released on blu it might look better than it was at the theater.

Trust me, the Descent is a FANTASTIC looking Blu-ray. You won't be disappointed in it.

You can't judge by going to the (crappy) theater because most theaters don't run the projector at the correct brightness.

The movie was just too dark. It was hard to follow the action scenes. Maybe it can be brightened up on the bd. Still, it will find its way into my eager hands.
