MK red band trailer set a new viewership record. Looks like the movie gathered quite a bit of interest. Come on, WB, dew it.

There's a lot of stuff they could include, too. There's a lot of the actors from the film like Linden Ashby and Robin Shou talking about it again because of the 25th anniversary last year, so a good retrospective would be cool. Plus I think Paul Anderson did a commentary track that was on the laserdisc that never got ported over since for some reason.

Even just barebones UHD will do for me. Plus it's WB, I doubt they will bother with a packed release. It's not a Kubrick movie after all.

I am all but certain it is coming, with the release of the new film on home video. WB hasn't issued a 4K DCP or anything new for screenings, let alone made any effort to promote the old film for the 20th Anniversary a few years back, so I'm sure they have done it under the radar.
