I'm glad they are re-releasing the X-Men films on steelbook, hopefully we can get the Wolverine films as well for the first time on 4K.

The two Wolverine films aren't included in the set, unfortunately. The entire set's artwork has been posted on FNAC.

wondering if the FNAC steelbooks are also lenticular. Those are actually going to be released on the same day in June but it may be better to spread out the cost

Disappointed they didn’t come up with some new artwork for this given the high price point. With Logan looking completely different from the others I’d hardly call these a set either. Kind of a missed opportunity if you ask me.

You do know that Zavvi is just releasing the steelbooks right?? They don't have any control over which movies are getting a 4k treatment.

Ought to be j-card... All the ones they've done within the last 2-3 years have been like that looking at the Marvel and Disney ones

Are they under a different studio or ownership or something?

Wolverine was the biggest mutant within the franchise, they absolutely will be releasing 4k steelbooks of those 2 movies at some point.

All of the X-Men films together make them the 7th largest franchise in movie history.

The previous steelbook releases will not affect new 4k releases.

Does anybody ever know EXACTLY why we ever get any releases? Or slipcovers or magnets or anything ever when it comes to SteelBooks?

I believe there is at least one person who may know the answer to that question but as usual that person in charge, being under no obligation whatsoever to reveal the reason, won't.

now would be the time if there ever was one. imdb says x-men origins was mastered as a 4K DI

i just hope the FNAC releases have the same steelbook, embossing and finish just without the magnet. i don't care for the smaller sized magnets.

According to steelbookpro they are also going to be lenticular, but also that there are no plans as of now to release the first three x-men films in France.

I've put preorders in for some of the fnac steelbooks since they are so much cheaper than the Zavvi listings.

Placed an order with FNAC on Tuesday for this, Days of Future Past, and Apocalypse and they are set to arrive today. FNAC is awesome!!!
