i get my first blu-ray player now! yes! i decided to check out ebay just for shits and giggles. low and behold, an auction was ending in 30 mins for a sammy at $455. so, what the heck let's see what happens. i end up winning at $461. IMHO, a big steal.

this takes the pressure off of me to try and get a PS3. i'll just wait till march now to do my gaming and move the sammy to the bedroom.

The only downside to this is: What happens if the unit fails you in some respect? It's like you have no warranty or anything else.

Otherwise, yeah, that's pretty good.

Just rember you have to send it into sammy to get it fixed or you have to pay someone if breaks down the road. Anyways congrats you luck bastard I had to pay $874 from best buy when it came out.

hehe, thank you. i know i'd have to send it into the manufacturer. i do have a dealer here who fixes these, but i'll see how the product is when it gets here and hopefully no problems

I would love to get my hands on the Sammy service manual... it is cool so see what makes these things tick. OT I guess but talking about dealers made me think about service manuals...
