This is a good movie, but Tony Todd was a really odd choice to play Sammy Davis, Jr.

Honestly, I thought it was a pretty inaccurate and distasteful biopic. Like, I don't remember the real Sammy Davis Jr. ever splitting people from their groin to their gullet?

Happened on the set of Cannonball Run II. Albert Ruddy covered it up.

Like a lot of horror I grew up with, it won't have the same impact as seeing it as a child and being terrified. But I'd like to watch this one again.

Sony lost the US rights back in 2012 which is one reason why the movie took so long to hit blu-ray in the first place

Universal has worldwide rights to it now
