I'm not usually one to be like, "Why are they releasing X instead of Y," but Kino giving this the UHD treatment, while sitting on the rights to Ninja 3 because it apparently wouldn't sell, has activated my supervillain arc.

I swear they're doing this to troll people after the complaints about Fletch being Blu-only. In what world will this sell better than anything, let alone Fletch?

I'm really hoping they pull an Italian Job ('69) there, and turn around and decide to do a 4K release as well.

I can't help but smile when I see Ninja 3 mentioned, it would no doubt dominate Suspect Zero in sales. Such a fun movie!

A great cast and a crime thriller (I assume, I have not seen) about a serial killer killing serial killers.. What's not to like? I thought this was going to be born from the Dexter Showtime series era but that actually came two years after this.

This has to be a contractual obligation release.

Yep! A 5.8 on IMDB for a movie so remembered it didn’t even get a blu ray release. Kino gonna be swimming in that cash like Scrooge McDuck.

Suspect Zero is the one movie that Kino has announced in the last year or so that I've never heard of. Heading over now to IMDb and perhaps Wikipedia as well now to find out what it's about. And to search for some reviews.

But reading some of the posts here, it doesn't sound very good. But every movie has its fans. The people at Kino are fans. Right?

I probably saw this when it came out since it was from the director of Shadow of a Vampire and he seemed like a big name at the time. The trailer actually looks pretty good. Reminded me of Silence of the Lambs starring Ben Kingsley instead. I’d bet that this was all ready to go and Paramount offered it to Kino for a song and they said why not? I’ll buy it.

Yes! Finally!

[Show spoiler]I was feeling bad for whatever this movie is, and thought it would need a little cheering up. When people are more excited about a UHD of Terror at Tenkiller…

Sure looks like this movie was dumped onto theaters in the late summer with no publicity (it never charted higher than tenth).

The tagline didn’t help: “Drop the hero and get with Suspect Zero!”.

Saw this when it first hit DVD back in the day. I seemed to remember liking it at the time but it's not a film I've ever had a notion to revisit and certainly not one I'd be interested in buying, particularly on 4K.

I get that being a Paramount title, this probably already had a 4K master or whatever the deal is with them, and that it would cost a bit more to prep Fletch for the format but c'mon, seriously, this is on no one's wishlist. No one was asking for this and its only sales are going to come from the curious who are looking to add something to their sale orders to get free shipping.
