It's interesting in a twilight zone kinda way. Not really enough there for a 90 minute feature.
I really dug the tone of it though.

Movie was interesting, I like the tone & vibe. Either a lot of people hate it or didn't want to give it a chance. Only a couple people on this tread To me it was more like a Twilight Zone feeling of being Trapped..

This movie definitely had a Twilight Zone vibe to it. I blind bought it. Kept me interested but, i'm not sure how much replay value it will get.

Just watched it on Amazon Prime and was reasonably impressed. As mentioned, very TWILIGHT ZONE-y, or like a short story Stephen King would’ve written in the ‘80s. I’m actually heading up to Best Buy now to buy it.

Damn, I was always curious about this one. Gonna have to check it out.

By the way, how does one start a new thread for a movie that has no existing threads attached to it? Do you just need to reference it in the title?

Just watched this. (pause) Hmmmm. Ok....the whole concept was interesting and it kept my attention, I just HAD to see where this was going and hopefully get some answers to the bizarre plot. It seemed like it had SO much potential to actually GO somewhere....but then.....it didn't.

It kinda felt like the finale of LOST....so much build up, so many questions, and then....poof....someone lets all the air out and you realize you were just taken for a ride and wasted all that time, investing in a really wonderful idea......that ended with a thud.

Except the ending to LOST is magical and just about perfect.

We watched it on Prime, and I have to disagree. The whole movie is symbolic of the cycles of modern life from generation to generation. I don't know how the ending might be more satisfying.

It was very disturbing, if not depressing.

So yesterday I came across this silly article that quite looks like the housing development in Vivarium. Too amusing.

Also watched this on Prime since the synopsis sounded interesting. It seemed like there were multiple interepretations that could me made of it.
[Show spoiler]The most glaringly obvious one to me was the concept of 'suburban hell' and the soulless homogeneity of it all. The film felt had a bit of a claustrophobic and uneasy feeling throughout and reminded me of some of my own experiences. There have been times where I've visited people in neighborhoods that are somewhat similar where every house looks the same and despite the area being a place of reasonable wealth, there was a desolate feeling with no one around. And I've had that experience of feeling like I'm stuck in a maze with no way to get out. The additional interpretations involving alien type lifeform were interesting as well.
I'd say it's worth a watch and does have a bit of an extended Twilight Zone feel to it.
