The Ghost With Barbara Steele 1963

Hello , I'm into classic horror. Especially from the 1930s to around 1975. Movies with Barbara Steele are some of my favorites. The Ghost from 1963 is only available on DVD. I do a request with most bluray transfer companies and especially ones that have brought movies starring Barbara Steele to bluray. I believe The Ghost is her only movie that is not available on bluray.

This one is a must , any rumors out there ? Only some dvds of this one , I have the Bayview entertainment DVD

Also anyone who is doing the Horrible Dr. Hichcock new USA release ? I want to buy the radiance and have that on order from Amazon UK . The boutique shops are saying its getting a USA release and are not caring it . Are we safe to say its not going to be a 4K and the Radiance should be good choice ?

1) In their Facebook group, Vinegar Syndrome said that in January they’re releasing a “4K of a masterpiece of '60s Italian gothic horror”.

2) Severin’s most recent podcast about their UHD release of Castle of Blood said they did a new interview with Barbara Steele. They said the interview was not just about/to be used for CoB, but also for future releases by both them and a release from “another label”.

People are putting 2 and 2 together and thinking that Vinegar Syndrome’s January release will be Horrible Dr. Hichcock. Nothing confirmed, of course, and there’s other 60s Italian gothic horror starring Barbara Steele it could be.

In any event, the Severin podcast indicates we have multiple Barbara Steele gothic horror films in HD coming our way.

I really appreciate this , It took a little time Amazon UK was not cancelling my order saying it was in dispatch and I had a bunch more other things that I was iffy about in a big order and they aren't coming out till mid November and they still would not cancel my order . Finally after I told them there is no way for me to refuse the package and shipping back would cost a fortune they cancelled it . It was like a $150 order of blind buys , What a relief . You know even if Horrible Dr. Hitchcock turns out not to be 4K , A vinegar syndrome release will still be just as good as the Radiance blu , Maybe just some different extras . Thanks again !!!

So yeah -- with Radiance and Vinegar Syndrome announcing The Horrible Dr. Hichcock, that definitely leaves The Ghost as the #1 Barbara Steele movie missing on disc.

Surprised VS didn't do this as a follow-up to their release of THE HORRIBLE DR. HICHCOCK.
