Default Best Matrix sequel?

I’m gonna go ahead and get this poll out of the way in what might as well be titled “which of the Matrix sequels sucked the least?”

Anyways, my vote goes to Reloaded simply because I didn't hate it even if it wasn't that good, either. It's too bad they had to bog it down with all that Neo-Trinity stuff because the second half was great and it had maybe the best action scenes of the whole series topped off with a great score. And Morpheus gave that awesome Zion speech in the first half.

Revolutions was terrible and Regurgitations (yes, that’s what I’m gonna call it) was even worse.

I actually think Reloaded and Revolutions are both decent. Resurrections however, kill it with fire.

I like all the sequels equally for different reasons.

Reloaded.

Reloaded and Revolutions are basically just one movie split in two, but I like the first half better.

Reloaded, easily.

Revolutions was OK.

Resurrections was laughably bad and should never have been made.

Probably Reloaded. Some of the philosophical talk went overboard, but still had great action and style. Liked a lot of Revolutions too but some parts went on too long, and I've mentioned it before, but it didn't work as an ending to the series for me.

So Im glad Resurrections was made, even though it wasnt as as good overall.. I do think the first half has some interesting ideas.

I couldn't finish any of them, even after several attempts. I only rewatch the original.

The 2nd movie had some great ideas, but the execution fell a bit off. I blame this a little bit on too much reliance on the CGI a la the Smiths vs Neo brawl and a little bit of the freeway fight when he saves Morpheus and the Keymaker. Also whenever generally he would fly and they turn it into very obvious CGI.

Revolutions wasn't absolutely awful but it certainly went in a somewhat weird direction once we got to the end of Reloaded and have the Architect give his spiel.

BTW, what 4th movie?
