I take it no one is interested in Blu-rays with Isolated Score tracks?

I'm not sure what this means? Is it that you can play the movie score separate from the movie? Like playing a soundtrack CD?

Yes. They were mostly on earlier DVD's. The Big Trouble in Little China one is excellent, in DTS.

Maybe if Charlie & The Chocolate Factory ever gets released, it'll have the isolated score in lossless sound like the HD DVD. That always cracked me up, "here's the film with compressed audio, but here's the score with lossless sound!"

No. It means that you can watch the film with only score in your audio track, meaning that all sound effects and dialogue have been removed. The original Matrix DVD had it, but if I recall correctly, it wasn't transferred to the newer one in the Ultimate set, which would mean that most likely wasn't transferred to the Blu-ray.

That one was actually pretty cool, because it had Don Davis doing commentary during the portions without music.

It's actually on the Blu-ray.

I think the worst audio commentary/isolated score I've heard was Trevor Rabin's The 6th Day. I was so excited to get the DVD with the isolated score due to the massive ammount of music left off the Varese release. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a single cue that Trevor Rabin didn't talk over. And of course, this was even left off the Blu-ray...

Unfortunately due to royalty fees, Isolate Scores are getting very rare...

But I did just remember one... The Omen features Jerry Goldsmith's isolated score (the original, not the remake with Marco Beltrami's score).

None that I'm aware of. As a matter of fact, I don't think that I came across any BD that has a sound effects only track.

It was not. The Ultimate Toy Box of TS1 and TS2 has iso sfx tracks also. Gary Rydstrom. It's the reason to have that set.
