I can't speak for that specific title, but I've never come across any other release by the same company that forced subtitles when playing the original English soundtrack.

Thank you so much. I took a chance and have ordered it. I love this film and this appears to be the only option. I have a bootleg from ebay but its pretty bad.

You're welcome. Some of their releases are excellent while others are quite weak. I have only ever seen this movie on TV, which was a passable version I guess. Any feedback after you get this would be appreciated though.

UPDATED:
I got it today from Daaveedee.
I was able to play it on a standard Oppo blu ray player in the US, and was able to turn off the subtitles.

The picture quality is ok, a bit soft though. I say slightly better than VHS, maybe a 6 out of 10.
Sound is clear but seems to be a bit off from their lips at times, it even sounds a bit sped up at times maybe. Perhaps because I am playing a PAL DVD in the US? Though I own some other PALs and this has never happened before.

All in all I am glad I bought it as I feel its better than the version I bought on ebay a long time ago that I assume was copied off TV or off a VHS tape.

Robert Ryan is great on this, I feel uncomfortable while watching how uncomfortable he is.
