I remember thinking when I rewatched my Artificial Eye Blu-ray in March that it could use an upgrade. But, with that rewatch, I had to admit to myself that it wasn't one of Kieslowski's best. Will still get it, though.

This should be a combo with regular BD. Couleurs trilogy, too.

Which is clearly not correct as they list Couleurs also as 1-disc set at the moment.

I ordered a copy. Even if it ends up not having English subtitles, this is one of my favorite films (it's definitely in my top 5). I can’t wait to see it in 4K. Hopefully, Amazon’s info is wrong, and it will have more than just French subs.

I was surprised to find that there doesn't appear to be a French Blu-ray btw. EDIT: Yes, there is, but it's hard to find and no individual release so it seems.

I had the French DVD, and it did have English subtitles. I still have a film strip of Irene Jacob that came with the limited edition.

NO FREAKING WAY. And with Three Colors???? Price tags need not apply for Kieślowski in 4K. This is not even a question.

The Amazon product page for Trois Couleurs says it will have both French and English subs, but the product page for Veronique says only French. Obviously that's not a guarantee on either, but not a promising sign for this one.

A bit wary of the potential lack of English subs, but I'm a big Kieslowski fan so I'll be waiting for good news.

I wondered what would happen if I played the SDR subtitles from my Blu-ray over an HDR movie. It makes the shadow outline of the subs really stand out and the white whiter. Muxing my PGS subs into this 4K disc won't be ideal.
