Default Vikings Season 6 - History Channel

One of my favorite series has entered its final season. Feeling a bit melancholy about it, but ever since Ragnar left the show, you knew it was inevitable. Ragnar's son Ivar is a bit off the rails on the crazy train. Handicapped from birth and the outcast king of the stronghold of Kattegat. Kills everything in sight. Floki is and always has been one of my favorite characters. A boatbuilder, a bit quirky but a good man and an excellent warrior. Lagertha, Ragnar's ex-wife, a queen, shieldmaiden and one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Also one of my favorite characters. Talented and physical. Can't wait to see what plays out with Bjorn. One of Ragnar's sons and current king of Kattegat.

Well we still have two parts of the final season .. 10 eps and then another 10 so it is technically like two seasons. I hate Ivar so much .. just an awful character. I do miss young Ragnar .. didnt really care for him as he got older. But I am interested to see where this goes and I hope it doesnt have Ivar killing Lagertha.

Didn't realize it was 20 eps. Good to see they didn't cut it down being the final season. Should be fun. I really like the show.

Yes, Ivar is a wretched beast. I loathe him as much as I did Negan on TWD awhile back. Ragnar was such a great character. I love seeing the Ragnar stickers on people's cars. I think Bjorn will have enough of Ivar. My fantasies will be crushed if they kill off Lagertha

Ivar has really overstayed his welcome in this series. The dude isn't even an invalid anymore.

First game of thrones now this. All my shows are ending and I don't what I will do with myself now lol.

I must admit I was surprised to hear the news of vikings ending as I felt there was still a lot of story to tell. But I guess that will continue in Hirst's upcoming netflix project.

Anywho, this show is amazing. I fell in love with it a few years ago when I was looking for shows to hold me over in between seasons of GOT. Ragnar is one of my favorite characters in all of fiction. As well as Bjorn and Floki. Honestly the cast is all great. With some of the hottest women I have ever seen on tv.

And even Ivar. Such a great antagonist he is.

Such a shame there will be long breaks between the first ten and last ten episodes though. I wish they would just do a full 20 episode season weekly.

I really love Vikings, but the whole balloon sequence was almost a jump the shark moment.

Yep, a true bromance is blossoming I think. I haven't seen Ep 2 yet. Can't wait. Did not know Ukrainians are descendants of Vikings, wow.

Yea I thought it was a great sendoff even though I wish they gave Ragnar the same.

Who knows with Hirst, he does all that dream/vision surreal crap you never quite know. I hate that stuff personally, he ruined what could have been one of the cooler battles of the series.

It wasn’t all a dream. The conversations between Bjorn and Ivar sitting on the beach were inside Bjorn’s head, but the battle happened.

Well it seems I am of the unpopular opinion. Ivar is by far my favorite character and the greatest of Ragnar's sons.

I hope the show doesn't cave to fan pressure and somehow find a way to make Ivar the looser. Though history/mythology is murky on the ultimate fate of Ivar, he was ultimately the most successful and thus most famous of Ragnar's sons. Generally accepted to have surpassed the accomplishments and fame of his father.

Man I really hated seeing
[Show spoiler]Bjorn and Lagertha get killed.
Two of my favorite characters. This is kinda like Game of Thrones with all of the good characters getting wiped out, then you get angry, then you resign yourself to the fact that you really like the show and continue watching it Should be good seeing what Ivar and Hvitserk get involved in. Hvitserk really lost it when
[Show spoiler]Ivar sacrificed his female friend.
Had to really feel for him.

Just caught the first episode on Hulu. Not sure I'll watch more but it's interesting how Lagertha aged 30 years in a week.

I meant free to watch with prime like the other seasons. Not trying to pay $2.99 per episode.
