Gotta be honest, that was probably one of the most frustratingly uninformative trailers I've ever seen.

"My head is made of the same material as the sun" was the icing on the cake.

Primer was brilliant but was very mind-boggling with lots of technical dialogue that I couldn't always follow - this looks like it will be very similar. Shane Carruth, delivering the mindf*cks that Hollywood doesn't.

I was watching random new trailers on Apple's page today when I came across this one. I stopped watching immediately when I saw that this belonged to Shane. I wasn't risking a single spoiler.

I am a huge fan of Primer, and was really, really hoping to see what he came up with next. And possibly an even more exciting thought is that this release may provoke a blu-ray release for Primer. This must happen.

I'm glad I finally have a theatrical release to look forward to, next April can't come soon enough.

Way to spot that, thanks for the link.

Primer was shot on Super 16, which would really benefit from a 1080p transfer. I'm passing on the 720p download, although a DRM-free copy is a really great idea. And there's some very cool limited edition poster art on the site, too. I would still rather wait for a higher-res, less compressed version with a lossless soundtrack. I've been spoiled by blu-ray.

Though if a BD release never happens, at least I'll always have this to fall back on. Or the 1080p download from iTunes.

What a d-hole. It's seemed evident for a couple of years he's probably not going to make anything new because nobody will want anything to do with him. An interesting filmmaker simply had to throw it away and be a self-destructive woman beating loser.

For the longest time, one would assume that he couldn't get any projects greenlit because they were too ambitious or something. But nope, it's actually because he's a GIGANTIC ASS. Screw him and the ship he rode in on.
