New This Week: 11/14/2006 Fox & PS3 Launch Edition - Blu-ray Forum

It's the big week baby and FOX is hitting the market the same time as the PS3 so there are a lot of titles coming. Please do NOT vote until a moderator has responded indicating that all the titles above 10 have been added. There should be twelve total.

Great week for Scott fans and X-men is a given

Perhaps if there were not those three available I would get some of the others but you know I only have so many $$$ to spend on this stuff... perhaps when the Fox back catalogue get less expensive I will pick some up.

Glad to see more people voting! I know we've got a bunch of lurkers here still!

I'm psyched for Black Hawk Down. I own the 3 disc set - but have NEVER seen it. Or the movie itself.

Kingdom of Heaven I saw the first 30 minutes on HBO, decided I needed to see it in full. Looking forward to that.

Last Samurai replaces the sole HD DVD that I own and will be selling now.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen I have on DVD and like but it's not a big flick. I am however really curious to see the BD-J features and really want to get a feel for it.

I really loved the Transporter when I caught it on cable; it's not deep but it does what it wants extremely well and is simply fun. I can't wait to see it in beautiful HD.

X-Men 3... hell, I started buying Uncanny X-Men with issue 176. Stopped ages ago, but the love is still there. Missed it in the theaters, avoided the DVD. Its goodness will be mine!

Will have to spread my choices out, can't afford to buy all at once but Xmen3 and Black Hawk definately this Tuesday. I think they forget Starship Troopers on that list, wife likes that one.

Although Starship Trooper is listed for Nov 14 release in Loaded247.com, it never got a cover (It's also been listed as a Sony January 26 release for Japan), so it may be one of the titles supposedly being re-tooled after complaints about Sony early releases, and I don't think it'll be out.

Other two tltles seemingly destined for that fate are The Da Vinci Code and Layer Cake that show up listed in some sites and got covers.
