I think with this, unless it's a boutique release, I am not buying blu-rays anymore. I am sick of buying the blu-ray then a bit down the road the 4K comes out. If it were years later, I'd be less pissed, but this has happened a few times and it's getting really shitty.

I wasn't too fussed on this when I saw it in the cinema, watched it at home and I enjoyed it far more. The opposite happened with 'Midsommar'.

James Wan is the best, but they should have put this out for purchase time as the blu ray.

A very unexpected, but welcome, surprise. I bought the standard blu-ray already but will pick this up as well. One of my favorites from last year. Insanely over the top but wildly entertaining.

This is quite a surprise and good news for the format, even though the film itself is very weak. Perhaps I will buy it, but I just don't know. Frankly, I would have preferred a release of The Conjuring.

I expect if anything this is probably a result of better than expected sales for the BD! It’d be nice if they looped back to Judas and the Black Messiah also which, had it come out in this year’s award season surely would have gotten a release like King Richard and Reminscince managed.

My second-favorite movie of 2021. So if this comes to the U.S., I'll probably eventually pick it up. Hopefully with the original cover art. Or better yet, a sweet Steelbook.

It was definitely a dick move to not release the UHD at the same time as the BD. At least I didn't buy day one, but waited for a sale.

I wonder if they planned this all along, or the movie ended up being more popular than they expected.
