damnit.. i just bought the blu-ray for this and brave from disney movie club. I would much prefer the 4k version if i knew they were gonna release the 4k..

You can bet that Disney will do a second wave of Pixar UHDs consisting of A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, Wall-E, Up and Monsters University. They won't blow them all in one go. The others will probably come early 2020 to tie in with Onward.

I'm surprised so many are coming so quickly. Seems like they'd spread them out and have 3/4 at a time around Toy Story 4 on home video, Onward theatrical, and Soul theatrical.

The cover for this is bad though, I get Fear, Anger, and Disgust not being so prominent, but Sadness is as important to the film as Joy is... Pixar's insistence on picking one character to associate films with makes no sense. Like Buzz as the cover for Toy Story 3 when he was less important than in 1 and 2 is insane lol

Going by the OP posting almost all of Pixar's filmography I was expecting Wall-E and Up to show up. Honestly, after all these threads started getting created a bunch of us did.

Wall-E and Up are two of the biggest Pixar films. Maybe they put Finding Nemo and Inside Out out as this wave's big titles and Up and Wall-E are the big titles for next time.

Could this possibly be the first movie on 4K that actually goes beyond the DCI-P3 color gamut and uses colors only found in actual Rec. 2020?

I remember reading that for Dolby Cinemas there was a sequence that used those colors. Curious if that’ll make it to the UHD disc as even plain HDR10 uses the Rec. 2020 container.
